Lovefeast is a webcomic written and illustrated by the talented Jessica “Senshuu” Cantlope. She is very visual in her storytelling, relying on her compelling imagery to carry a fair bit of the plot. While in the beginning, the plot is downright confusing, pieces begin to come together as the story unfolds. It is clear that the author put a great deal of effort and thought into both her characters, and the world in which they interact. Her glossary alone complete with a wiki of “insider” information is something of marvel. Rarely do I come across a comic with such in-depth, intimate consideration for the mechanics that make up its very foundation. All on her own, Senshuu does just that.
